Programmed Energy & Resources are seeking experienced & new to industry individuals interested in a Drone Pilot career with our client Alcoa located in Perth's South.

Our Client: Alcoa of Australia is a premier Australian mining and smelting company producing bauxite, alumina, and aluminum since 1963. It operates large-scale, integrated assets in Western Australia and Victoria, producing alumina and aluminum.

About the Role

  • T50 Drone Operations
  • Monday-Friday 40-50 hour weeks
  • On-going & seasonal roles available
  • Works based across mine sites in the peel region
  • Drone spreading for agriculture fertilisation application & surveying
  • Industrial inspections
  • Maintain meticulous flight records
  • Follow strict safety protocol & guidelines
  • On-site vehicle provided for travel between locations

Role Requirements

  • Genuine interest in drone pilot operation as a career pathway
  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree advantageous
  • AVI30419 Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot) highly advantageous
  • Experience with DJI T40 and T50 (highly desirable)
  • Prior involvement in drone operations (advantageous)
  • Drone accreditation (advantageous)
  • Strong computer skills & meticulous attention to detail are essential
  • Drivers License & reliable vehicle
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Enthusiastic learner with a genuine interest in applied sciences
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
